The good news is: helping the PTA doesn't mean giving up all your free time. You don’t have to bake 200 cupcakes or attend every meeting (unless you want to!). Even the smallest action can make a big difference.

You might already have a brilliant skill that could help the PTA bring joy to the children. Could you:

• 🍰 Host a baking or decorating class?

You don’t have to commit long-term—just one hour, one day, or one idea is amazing.

• Volunteer at one event during the year
• Sort through lost property (a surprisingly satisfying job!)
• Help run an after-school snack stand
• Design a poster or share a social media post
• Wrap gifts or prep prizes at home

🏫 What’s the PTA, Anyway?

The Parent Teacher Association is where parents, carers, and school staff work together to:
