At St Modwen’s, we believe that every parent and carer has something valuable to offer—and getting involved with the PTA doesn’t have to mean a huge time commitment. Whether you can help once a year or once a week, your support makes a difference.

Some people help out at one event, others come to every one. Some bake cakes, run a stall, or help tidy up at the end. Others design posters, donate raffle prizes, bring snacks, offer a one-off workshop, or simply share brilliant ideas. Whatever you’re good at—or whatever you enjoy—we’d love you to bring that to the table.

You might have a creative flair, a helpful connection, or a bit of spare time. Maybe you love crafts, are great at organising, or just enjoy a good chat while setting up chairs. Every role matters, and there’s no pressure to do more than you’re comfortable with.

By volunteering, you're not just supporting the school—you’re also building a stronger, kinder community. It’s a lovely way to meet other parents, connect with teachers, and show our children what it looks like when people work together for something good.
